Extra Strong 15-20 mg/g
The "extra strong snus" category includes all products with a nicotine content between 15 and 20 mg/g. As expected, their effect is also extra strong, and only those who already have sufficient experience with nicotine, such as former heavy smokers or vape users, should try them.
Which nicotine strength in snus is right for me?
Choosing the right nicotine strength is subjective and should be made based on personal judgment and preferences. Some snus users prefer a mild nicotine experience, while others seek a more intense nicotine kick. Therefore, we recommend trying different nicotine strengths and then making a suitable choice. Generally, beginners should start with the "Light" or "Medium" category. Former smokers and vapers can start directly with the "Medium" or "Strong" category. Experienced users familiar with snus or former heavy smokers can explore the "Extra Strong" and "Ultra Strong" categories.
Who is extra strong snus suitable for?
As mentioned, extra strong snus is particularly suitable for users who already have sufficient experience with nicotine. This includes users of nicotine pouches who are familiar with various nicotine strengths and seek a stronger kick. These products are also ideal for support in quitting smoking, with former heavy smokers especially appreciating the ability to suppress withdrawal symptoms with extra strong pouches.
Mg/Pouch in Extra Strong Snus
Nicotine strength is generally indicated in milligrams per gram (mg/g) and is the primary deciding factor when choosing the right product. The pouch size plays a significant role, as a larger pouch form means more content, leading to a stronger nicotine experience. The nicotine content per pouch (mg/pouch) thus provides a more accurate guideline when selecting the right snus.
Consider other factors such as moisture and pH level
It is important to note that nicotine content alone is not decisive. Rather, the perceived strength plays a central role in the evaluation, as other factors such as pouch moisture, pouch size, and pH level are significant influencing factors.
For example: With snus pouches with higher moisture, nicotine is released significantly faster, and the effect is noticeable within a few seconds. Dry nicotine pouches, on the other hand, release nicotine and aroma over a much longer period.
Flavors of Extra Strong Snus
Regarding flavor, we have divided snus into four different categories: Classic (Mint, Menthol), Fruity, Berry, and Exotic. Extra strong snus is available in all four flavor categories.
